Updating ipad software without computer

Check for updates to your i Pad system software about once a month or so, and you’ll keep your i Pad running as smoothly as possible. Do not disconnect your i Pad from the computer until the update is complete.

If you’re having problems with your i Pad, you can use the Update feature to try to restore the current version of the software.

To keep the i Pad running smoothly, update the software at your company regularly.

New software updates often contain new programs, and -- more importantly -- they have bug fixes for problems that existed in previous versions of the software.

If not, select the i Pad from the Devices section located in the top right corner of the screen.
